I have been going to this restaurant for 5 years plus and can’t fault the quality, freshness and authenticity of the food. Beautiful little restaurant tucked away in Mullumbimby with cozy and relaxed ambiance. Would recommend to order different things to share between guests as they bring it out as it is ready and this makes for a tasty dining experience. Sometimes the wait time can be a little longer than one might want however everything is made fresh to order so this should be expected especially when the restaurant is busy. Really can’t speak more highly of this local business. Also I suggest to book ahead as they can get full in the evenings and you definitely want to make sure you get a spot. Spicy Prawns are my family’s favourite :)

I particularly enjoyed the agedashi tofu, beautifully prepared and presented.
I also really appreciated the quality of the miso soup, prepared with white miso, I could taste the fish flakes in the stock. Its a long time since I've tasted such good miso soup.

The specials - Aburi Shime Saba is a must try ! The combination of mince ginger and shredded daikon along with the mackerel, it’s the taste of heaven my goodness !!!
The black tap beers are the best ! - Alex Wong Added December 10, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ★First time coming here... didn’t really have much expectation but after trying several food. I would say this is a pretty good food for the locals here.
Yummy...and is a good Santori beers. Wish it could be colder.
